StrandWoven Mosaic is derived from recycled poplar used in the furniture industry. Scraps are woven together and compressed into a dense log. This log is milled into flooring planks, and infused with stain and aluminum oxide in the layers of the UV cured factory finish. The variations of recycled scraps create the beautiful and varied color hues, which show through the transparent and iridescent like stain.
